Hope filled Kidz

Join the parents of Hope Church in the Covenant responsibility for the Christian nurture of our children. Our desire is to use our talents, skills, and services to help raise hope-filled kids. In addition to Sunday School, we also organize many fun events throughout the school year. Our Vacation Bible School helps children and parents make it through those summer holiday blues!

An exciting new curriculum for Sunday School!

First Look for up to 5 years old

First Look is a unique approach to curriculum for churches, designed to give preschool children a first impression of their loving heavenly Father.

First Look uses several key strategies:

Teach less for more: Repeats one key truth (Bottom Line) all month long.

Engage the five senses: Helps master the concept through creative activities.

Teach with the end in mind: Helps a child by age five, to believe:

1.God made me

2.God loves me.

3.Jesus wants to be my friend forever.

Experience worship: Encourages children to talk to God any time, any place.

Connect at home: Provides parents with ideas for conversation with their child at home.

 252 BASICS from 5 to 5th grade

252 Basics is an easy-to-use curriculum designed to put your mind at ease and your heart into overdrive. It centers on 3 Basic Truths modeled by Jesus in Luke 2:52:

•I need to make the wise choice.

•I can trust God no matter what.

•I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

By the time children reach the fifth grade, we want them to understand and own these 3 Basic Truths, so they’re reinforced each week. We also focus on a core virtue each month. This virtue is supported by the weekly bottom line—the learning aim for the day.

On the whole, 252 Basics utilizes Bible stories, a core virtue, and a memory verse each month while offering engaging presentations of the 3 Basic Truths. We also throw in some handy illustrations of how God works in our lives to make us more like Him. To top it off, we use each month a virtue song which we use during our worship or music time to give the curriculum that added depth. 252 Basics—comprehensive, but simple.

Our passion is to see our children at the end of the curriculum to be eager to discover more about God. We believe as they experience the wonder of God and are drawn into discovering how He touches every aspect of life, then a passionate faith will grow. What could be more satisfying than young students discovering that their true identity rests in a loving relationship with Jesus Christ.
