"Our family looked long and hard for a
church that provided a good "fit" for each one of us. This was a
challenge because our family is made up of two adults
from differing
religious backgrounds and two teenagers with opposing preferences. We asked
God to lead us to a place where we would all choose to become
involved. We
knew God had answered our prayers the first time we visited Hope.
The comfortable atmosphere and prevailing
attitude of acceptance supports the Hope philosophy "We don’t shoot
the wounded". People come to Hope from
diverse cultures and backgrounds
and "get involved". They are blessed by serving and sharing their
talents, whether it’s leading a Bible study, providing childcare
, or
working in garage sales. Hope has so many gifted musicians who display
humility and God-focused worship. The praise songs "pull you in"
to what feels right
to you. Some folks clap or raise their hands, others
stand quietly and contemplate the words on the screen and some move to the
music.
Our
family is always blessed with Mike’s messages, which are so relevant. We
enjoy his humor and marvel at his wisdom. God is so good and he does answer
prayers."

"A few months ago I became involved with a
ladies Bible study. It had been some time since I had been able to attend a
Bible study, due to work and conflicting
hours. What a blessing this has
been! God has placed me (an older Christian) with young women who have
recently received salvation through Christ. Their joy
and enthusiasm for God’s
word is so contagious. They are full of questions and wonder just like eager
children who can’t get enough of a good thing. Our study
always runs
overtime.
God has
shown me His purpose for this stage in my life and I am truly thankful to
Him. My prayer is for continued guidance in our study group."
